Mom’s 7 Commandments

“How is your son?” I asked my friend.

“He is doing better, and I am very encouraged.”

Few months ago, my friend dropped everything to be with her son. Her son, recovering from a life-threatening situation, was struggling to get back to day to day normalcy of his work-study life.

“When I was here the last time, I brought a white board and wrote down something for him. I returned after three months and I see what I wrote down is still there. He has not erased what I wrote.  I feel encouraged. I guess kids do listen.”  She continued.

What she wrote wasn’t unique, but what makes it unique is the impact it creates. Impact that shapes the life. An inspiration that drives the action. Limitless energy that can only radiate from a mother’s love. It is a testimony – “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle Is the Hand That Rules the World”

On this Mother’s Day as my salute to all the Moms, I am sharing what she wrote for her son – “Mom’s 7 Commandments”.

Thank you to all the mothers across the world.

    True.
Do you remember in Deewar movie when Amitabh was listing his all possessions to Shashi and Shashi replied”Mere pas maa hai”.
One of the best tribute to Motherhood.
